Potatoes - 1.5 cups
Jalapeno - 4, desseded amd sliced into long strips
Lemon juice - from 1 lemon
Salt - to taste
Sesame seeds - 0.25 cup, roasted and ground (optional)
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Dry Chillies - 2
Oil - 3 teaspoons
Water - 0.5 cups
Coriander leaves - 2 cups, chopped

Boil potatoes in jackets. When done, peel and cut into small pieces. In a bowl, mix well potatoes, turmeric, salt, ground sesame seeds, lemon juice, half of the green coriander and water. In a small pan heat oil and add cumin seeds and red chillies. Fry them until brown and then add jalapeno pepper. Cook for about a minute or so. Pour over potatoes in the bowl and mix them thoroughly. Garnish with remaining green coriander leaves.
