Almonds - 1.5 cups, soaked overnight
Hot milk - 3 cups
Ghee or Butter - 250 gm
Sugar - 0.3 to 0.5 cup

Method for making Badam Ka Seera
|

Peel the almonds, wash and grind to fine paste. Heat ghee or butter in a heavy pan. Add almond paste and cook on high flame and then on low flame, stirring continuosly. After a while it should turn light brown and aromatic. Carefully pour hot milk and stir. Use a long-handled spatula as the mixture tends to splatter. When the paste thickens, add the sugar and cook, stirring continously and gently till the fat begins to separate. Decorate with chopped nuts and serve hot.
