1 1/2 lbs Lamb, cut in 2″ cubes
1 Tablespoon Shortening
2 Medium Onion, chopped
4 Cup Beef Broth
3 Medium Potato, peeled and cubed
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Celery Seed
1/4 teaspoon Marjoram, crushed
1/8 teaspoon Thyme, crushed
1 pkg Peas, frozen, partially thawed
6 Tablespoons Flour
2 Carrot, sliced

In a large skillet or slow-cooking pot with browning unit, brown meat in shortening. Combine browned meat in slow-cooking pot with remaining ingredients, except peas and flour. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat and potatoes are done. Add peas; then flour dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water. Turn control on high; cover and cook on high for 15-20 minutes.
