4 Kohlrabies, peeled and cut with liquid (chick-peas) into chunks

1/2 cup Couscous or Bulgar Wheat

1 large Onion, chopped

1/4 cup Raisins, dark or golden

2 Potatoes, peeled and 1 teaspoon ground Coriander, cut into chunks

1/2 teaspoon ground Turmeric

2 Zucchini, sliced thick

1/2 teaspoon ground Cinnamon

5 Tomatoes, fresh or 1/2 teaspoon ground Ginger

1 can Tomatoes (16 ounces)

1/4 teaspoon ground Cumin

1 can Garbanzo Beans (15 ounces)

3 cups Water

Method for making African Vegetarian Stew

Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.
