Swiss Steak With Vegetables


Features of Swiss Steak With Vegetables

Served as main course. Non-vegetarian dish.

Ingredients for Swiss Steak With Vegetables   (Click here for measurement conversion)

1 1/2 pounds Round Steak

1/4 cup Flour

2 Tablespoons Oil

4 Carrots, cut into 2″ pieces

4 medium Potatoes, quartered

1 Onion, sliced

1 can Condensed Onion Soup

1/2 cup Water

Method for making Swiss Steak With Vegetables

Season the steak with salt, pepper and dust with flour. In a skillet, brown the meat in oil until browned on both sides.Place the vegetables in the bottom of the Crockpot and cover with the meat. Mix the soup and water and pour over the meat. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours. This is great served over rice or noodles.
