Easy Shrimp Etouffee


Features of Easy Shrimp Etouffee

Served as main course. Non-vegetarian dish.

Ingredients for Easy Shrimp Etouffee   (Click here for measurement conversion)

6 Tablespoons Margarine

1 can Ro-Tel Tomatoes and Green Peppers

1 medium Bell Pepper, chopped

2 - 3 Ribs Celery, chopped

2 medium Onions, chopped

1 - 2 Cloves Garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup

Juice of 1/2 Lemon

1/4 cup Parsley, chopped or 1 1/2 Tablespoon dried

1 1/4 - 1 1/2 lb. Shrimp, peeled

1/4 cup Green Onion tops, chopped, optional for garnish

Method for making Easy Shrimp Etouffee

Saute onions, bell pepper, garlic, celery and tomatoes in margarine, covered, on Low for two hours. Just before serving, add remaining ingredients except green onion tops and cook for 5-10 minutes, until shrimp are cooked. Serve over hot rice, garnished with green onion tops, if desired.
