Any Fruit Coulis


Features of Any Fruit Coulis

Served as accompaniment. Vegetarian dish. Speciality: Low Fat, Low Sodium, Low Cholesterol, Low Sat. Fat, Low Calorie, Low Protein diet.

Ingredients for Any Fruit Coulis   (Click here for measurement conversion)

225 gm Raspberries (or use any type of Berry or soft stone Fruit, stones removed)

2-3 Tablespoons Icing Sugar

Method for making Any Fruit Coulis

Place the fruit in a blender or food processor. Pulse to break up fruit. Add the icing sugar and and blend to form a puree. Remove to a container and chill until required. If the fruit contains seeds, push the fruit through a sieve to remove them before chilling.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 1 1/4 hours

Yields: 1 Cup
