Seafood Salad


Features of Seafood Salad

Can be served as starter or main course. Non-vegetarian.

Ingredients for Seafood Salad   (Click here for measurement conversion)

2 cups small shell Pasta, uncooked

1 cup thinly sliced Celery

0.5 green Bell Pepper, finely chopped

0.5 red Bell Pepper, finely chopped

0.5 small red Onion, finely chopped

0.25 cup Mayonnaise

0.25 cup Italian-style salad dressing

2 teaspoons Seasoning (of your choice)

1½ lb cooked Shrimp, halved

Method for making Seafood Salad

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water following package directions until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, celery, green and red bell peppers and red onion. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Italian dressing, and seasoning. Pour into pasta; mix well. Stir in the shrimp. Chill 2 hours if desired. Sprinkle with additional seasoning just before serving, if desired.
