Asparagus Fried Rice


Features of Asparagus Fried Rice

Served as main course. Non-vegetarian dish. Speciality: Low Sodium, Low Protein diet.

Ingredients for Asparagus Fried Rice   (Click here for measurement conversion)

3 cups Cooked Rice, cooked in

Chicken stock

1 cup Green Asparagus Spears, chopped

1/2 cup Red Onions, chopped

1 Garlic Clove, crushed (optional)

1 teaspoon Red Chilies, crushed (optional)

Salt and Pepper

3 Tablespoons Butter or Yellow Margarine or Vegetable Oil (for frying)

Method for making Asparagus Fried Rice

Stir-fry onion, garlic and asparagus in oil or butter over high heat until asparagus is crisp-tender. Add cooked rice and chillies and stir-fry until rice is heated through. Season to taste. Serve hot.
