Gram dal - 1 cup
Whole red peppers - 2
Asafoetida - a pinch
Grated coconut - 0.5 cup
Ghee - 1 Tablespoon
Salt - to taste

Method for making Paruppu Thogaiyal

Fry the above ingredients in ghee, add salt and grated coconut and grind. Serve with vegetables.
