2 cups Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
4 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1/2 cup Milk
2 Eggs, lightly beaten
4 Tablespoons Shortening
8 Apples, peeled and grated
1 1/2 cups Sugar
2 cups boiling Water
1 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon

Method for making Apple Pudding
|
|
Mix first 7 ingredients to make a dough. Roll out on floured surface to a rectangle. Spread with grated apples. Roll up like a jelly roll and cut into 1-1/2 in slices. Make a syrup with sugar, water and cinnamon. Place in bottom of 13x9in pan. Lay dough slices on top. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
