250 gm Butter
4 Apples, grated
1 1/2 cups Sugar
2 Eggs
3 cups Flour
4 teaspoons Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 teaspoons Allspice
Topping
50 gm Butter
1/4-1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup rolled Oats
2 teaspoons Cinnamon

Method for making Apple And Oat Pudding
|
|
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add grated apple, sugar and egg and beat by hand. Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Put in lined 20 cm square tin. Melt butter for topping, and add remaining ingredients. Cover batter with topping mix. Bake 180 C 45-50 minutes. Serve with cream or sauce. The remainder may be eaten as a cake.
