Cake Doughnuts


Features of Cake Doughnuts

Served as dessert. Vegetarian dish.

Ingredients for Cake Doughnuts   (Click here for measurement conversion)

1 Tablespoon Granulated Sugar

4 Tablespoon Sugar replacement

1/3 cup Buttermilk

1 Egg (well beaten)

1 cup Flour

1/8 teaspoon Baking Soda

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

Nutmeg

Cinnamon

Vanilla extract

Salt

Oil for deep-fat frying

Method for making Cake Doughnuts

Combine sugars, buttermilk, and egg; beat well. Add remaining ingredients, except oil. Beat just until blended. Heat oil to 375 degree F. Drop dough from doughnut dropper into hot fat. Fry until golden brown, turning often. Drain.
