Apple Strudel Puff Pastry


Features of Apple Strudel Puff Pastry

Served as dessert. Vegetarian dish.

Ingredients for Apple Strudel Puff Pastry   (Click here for measurement conversion)

1 frozen Puff Pastry Sheet

2 Cooking Apples, peeled and thinly sliced

2 Tablespoon Raisins

1 Tablespoon Sugar mix with 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon

1 Egg, beat with 1 teaspoon Water

Method for making Apple Strudel Puff Pastry

Thaw pastry 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. On a lightly floured surface, roll pastry to 1 12x15 inch rectangle. Place on ungreased baking sheet; arrange apples down the center. Sprinkle with raisins and cinnamon-sugar. Brush edges of dough with egg wash. Roll up jelly roll style with seam side down. Turn ends under, brush with egg wash. Make diagonal slits across the top at 2 inch intervals. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
