Stuffed Oysters


Features of Stuffed Oysters

Served as main course. Non-vegetarian dish.

Ingredients for Stuffed Oysters   (Click here for measurement conversion)

1 Lb. country-style Sausage

1 Pot Oysters, drained and chopped

1/2 Cup chopped Parsley

4 Slices Bread

4 Tablespoon Butter

12 medium-sized Oysters (12 to 14), shelled, cleaned and boiled for a few minutes

1/2 Cup green Onion

Method for making Stuffed Oysters

Brown sausage in a lightly greased frying pan. Add oysters, parsley and green onion. Cook 10 minutes. Stir in crumbled bread, butter and 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Add some oyster juice if stuffing is not moist enough. Stuff into clean oyster shell. Bake in a shallow pan at 250 degrees F. for 30 minutes.
