Ingredients for "Strawberry Blueberry Jam"

4 cups prepared Fruit
3 1/4 cups Sugar
1 box Sure Jell Fruit Pectin
Method of cooking "Strawberry Blueberry Jam"
Rinse clean plastic containers and lids in boiling water. Thoroughly crush strawberries, 1 layer at a time. Measure 2 1/2 cups into large bowl. Thoroughly crush blueberries, 1 layer at a time. Measure 1 1/2 cups into strawberries. Measure sugar into separate bowl. Mix 1/4 cup sugar from measured amount and fruit pectin in small bowl. Stir fruit pectin mixture into strawberries gradually. Let stand 30 minutes; stir occasionally. Stir remaining sugar gradually into strawberry mixture. Stir constantly until sugar is completely dissolved about 3 minutes. Pour quickly into prepared containers to within 1/2 inch of tops. Wipe off top edges of containers; cover with lids. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours. Jam is now ready to use. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or freeze extra containers up to 1 year. Thaw in refrigerator.
