Ingredients for Glazed Ham   (Click here for measurement conversion)

1 bone-in Ham (18 to 20 lbs.)

1 can (12 oz.) Coca-Cola

60 to 75 whole Cloves

Fruit glaze

3 cup crushed Pineapple

1 cup Molasses

1 cup Corn Syrup

1 cup Honey

2 cup packed dark Brown Sugar

3/4 cup Barbecue Sauce

1 cup Orange juice

1 cup white Grape juice

2 cup Apricot preserves

1/4 cup prepared Mustard

2 Tablespoon dry Mustard

2 Tablespoon fresh Ginger juice

1 cup Pineapple juice

3 Tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2/3 cup Water

Method for making Glazed Ham

Preheat oven to 475°F. Remove plastic wrapper and netting from ham. Put ham in sturdy roasting pan, fat side up. Score ham 1/4-inch deep diagonally in cross hatch, making cuts 1 inch apart, and creating diamonds. Insert whole cloves, sharp end down, into diamond intersections. Do not score too deeply, or, as ham cooks, the cloves will fall into the deep crevices. Pour Coca-Cola over scored ham and bake it in middle of the oven for 1 hour. Remove ham and lower oven temperature to 350°F. Pour on just enough glaze to cover entire ham and bake 4 more hours in oven. Re-glaze ham every 20 minutes, using only fresh glaze each time. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Fruit Glaze:- Put crushed pineapple, molasses, syrup, honey, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, orange juice, white grape juice, apricot preserves, mustard, dry mustard, and ginger juice in large mixing bowl and mix well. In small saucepan, combine pineapple juice and cornstarch-water mixture. Bring this to a boil to thicken the cornstarch. Pour into large mixing bowl and stir well. Save 2 to 3 cups in container with tight-fitting lid and refrigerate or freeze.
