12 oz Dried Beans
5 cup Water
2 cup Ham, diced
1 cup Celery, chopped
1 cup Onion, diced
1/2 cup Carrots, minced fine
1 teaspoon Season Salt (Lawry’s)
2 teaspoon Beef Soup Base or Bouillon
1 teaspoon Chicken Soup Base or Bouillon
1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
1 pan Dill Weed
1 pan Caraway Seeds
1 Clove Garlic, minced

If using beans other than Lima’s. To make sure the beans are tender at the end of the cooking time, soak beans overnight, or boil on stove-top for 10 minutes prior to adding them to the Crockpot. Combine all ingredients in Crockpot. Cook on low 8 hours or until beans are tender.
