Swiss Breakfast Parfait


Features of Swiss Breakfast Parfait

Served as breakfast. Vegetarian dish. Speciality: Low-Fat diet.

Ingredients for Swiss Breakfast Parfait   (Click here for measurement conversion)

1 cup Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or old-fashioned)

16 oz Vanilla Yogurt nonfat or lowfat

8 oz Crushed Pineapple in juice undrained

2 Tablespoon Sliced Almonds (optional)

2 cup Sliced Strawberries fresh or frozen

Method for making Swiss Breakfast Parfait

In medium bowl, combine oats, yogurt, pineapple and almonds; mix well. Cover, refrigerate overnight or up to 4 days. To serve, layer oat mixture and strawberries in 4 parfait glasses. Garnish with additional strawberries, if desired. Serve chilled.
