1/4 cup Butter/oleo
1/4 cup Onion,chopped
1 Can of Crab-meat (or Crab)
1/4 teaspoon Curry powder
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Bread crumbs
1 Broccoli frozen, or fresh
1 cup Cheddar,grated
1/4 cup Plus 2T butter or oleo
2 Tablespoon Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Lemon juice

Method for making Crab Broccoli Casserole
|
|
Drain crab and set aside. Cook broccoli until almost tender and arrange in the bottom of greased 1 qt casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Melt 1/4 Cup of butter and saute the onion. Add flour, curry powder and salt. Gradually stir in milk. Cook until thickened. Stir in lemon juice. Add crab. Pour over broccoli and cheese in casserole. Mix 2T of melted butter with bread crumbs and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. A good dish to use the Crab. Also does nicely in individual casseroles.
